Shekhawati Train is a meter gauge train run by the joint venture of Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation and Indian Railways. The train traverses through Bikaner and the uncharted region of Shekhawati. The Shekhawati region is a famous tourist destination for the amazing Havelis (mansion) of Nawalgarh, Ramgarh and Mandawa. The Shekhawati Train also explores the cultural heritage of other cities of Rajasthan.
When we talk about the Shekhawati Train the first thing that comes to our mind is the grand and royal style of hospitality on wheels. Not to mention About Shekhawati Train is the classy comforts and a splendid royal journey through the bygone days of erstwhile Rajasthan.

About Shekhawati train we should not forget the ‘royal Treatment’ for the passengers with on board saloon, libraries, bar lounges, restaurants as well as on board shopping facilities.
The six days and five night train tour package includes Jaipur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Pushkar, Chittorgarh and Udaipur through the havelis of Shekhawat region.
The Shekhawati Train departs from Jaipur ETD on Friday at 1830 hours. The first halt is at Bikaner city. At Bikaner you get the opportunity to visit the Bikaner City Fort, Deshnok rat & Gajner Temple, 18th century old Junagardh Fort and local mansions. Enjoy the horse Tonga ride at Bikaner. You can have your launch at the Shekhawat Train and after a brief rest visit Camel Research farm followed by High Tea at Heritage Hotel. You can then visit the Gajner Palace.
On Sunday visit the 18th and 19th century deserted Havelis of Nawalgarh, Mandawa and Ramgarh of Shekahwat region. Also you can enjoy a jeep ride to Tal Chhapar Black Buck deer Sanctuary. On Monday the Shekhawati Train moves on to Ajmer and Pushkar to visit Muslim Sufi Saints Tomb, and the famous Pushkar Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Bramha. After Ajmer and Pushkar, visit the royal cities of Chittorgarh and Udaipur. In the morning itself we visit the Chittorgarh Hill Fort. You have your launch at Lake Palace hotel Udaipur. After launch visit the Saheliyon Ki Bari, Crystal Gallery and City Palace.
On Wednesday bid adieu to other tour passengers as the journey ends at Jaipur.
