Heritage on Wheels is a luxury train that will take you through the colorful kaleidoscope of Shekhawati region in Rajasthan. Modeled on immensely popular Palace on Wheels, this train will start and end at Jaipur and run twice a week for four days. Heritage on Wheels promises to be a luxury conveyance that takes you to some of the most beautiful desert mansions, decorated with frescoes in brilliant hues. The Heritage on Wheels is run jointly by the Indian Railways and the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation.
The itinerary of Heritage on Wheels has been planed to take you beyond the big cities of Rajasthan.

The train cover places like Navalgarh, Churu and other places in Shekhawati famous as the open air gallery for its traditional paintings on the walls of old havelis and palaces. The 4-day package includes service of well-trained guides, sight-seeing, camel safaris and horse rides.
Heritage on Wheels has 14 air-conditioned coaches with a capacity of 100 passengers. All the coaches of the train were earlier part of the royal carriages of the kings of India. The coaches have four coupes each with two toilets at each end of the coach. The coupe are decorated with ethnic furnitures that reminds you of the opulence of the royal era. Other in room facilities includes intercom, television set and cable connectivity, wall-to-wall carpet. The two restaurants - Maharaja and Maharani are meant to give you a royal dining. Indian as well as Continental dishes are served as per your wishes. A bar cum lounge with quality stock is also available.
