Ranchi Rajdhani Express has two routes to reach New Delhi. One is via Gaya and the other is via Daltonganj. Train No. 2439 runs twice a week via Gaya and leaves Ranchi on Wednesdays and Sundays at 17.30 hrs to reach New Delhi at 11.05 hrs next morning covering a distance of 1301 km. On its return journey, the train no. 2440 leaves New Delhi on Tuesdays and Fridays at 16.15 hrs to reach Ranchi at 9.20 hrs the following morning.
On the second route, Ranchi Rajdhani Express runs with the train no. 2453 and and runs once a week to reach New Delhi via Daltonganj. It leaves Ranchi on Tuesdays at 17.10 hrs and reaches New Delhi at 11.05 hrs next morning. While returning, the train no. 2454 leaves New Delhi on Sundays at 16.15 hrs. to reach Ranchi at 10.25 hrs. the next morning.
