The Deccan Odyssey is more of a latest addition to the list of the Luxury Trains in India that takes you on a cultural tour of the country. The Deccan Odyssey carries around 325 tourists on each journey. Presently this train is being compared to the famous Blue Train in South Africa. The Deccan Odyssey Maharaja Train has 4 Luxury Suite Cabins, 5 Double Bedded Cabins, 24 Twin Bedded Dlx Cabins, 14 Triple Bedded Cabins,a Cabin For Physically Challenged people, etc. Three Staff Cars are attached to the train for onboard staff. Deccan Odyssey facilities are designed to cater both Indian and International travelers.

Each of the passenger saloon houses 4 cabins & common lounge area with facilities of listening to DVD Player.
